Richard E. Williams is an Australian writer, director and producer working across feature films and high-end commercial production. His latest feature, Dead Eyes, premiered at SXSW 2026, screened at FrightFest and won Scariest Film at Fantaspoa. The film is represented internationally by Alliance Media Partners, with Australian and New Zealand distribution through Umbrella Entertainment. Alongside his debut feature, White Blood, his work reflects a focus on bold, audience-driven storytelling.
He is also the Head of Motion 24 Studio, producing campaigns across television, digital and social platforms for Australian brands. Alongside an active slate of feature projects in development, he works with international partners to facilitate Australian productions and access to local production incentives. His screenwriting has been recognised by Slamdance, the Queensland Screenwriting Awards and the Atlanta Film Festival.
